01 — Statement
Digital sensors, analog instincts. Every frame here is composed the way I was taught to compose on film — one exposure, one decision, no chimping. I lean on Fujifilm's film simulations instead of presets, because a JPEG that already looks finished lets me stay present with the person in front of the camera instead of the screen behind it.

Classic Chrome
Muted, desaturated, a little melancholy — my default for street work in Bucharest's grey months.
Velvia
Saturated and punchy. Reserved for the mountains, where the color is doing half the work.
Astia
Soft highlight roll-off and honest skin tones — my go-to for portraits and weddings.
Acros + R
Fine grain, deep blacks. For the frames that only work in black and white.

Workflow

Notes from clients
Ovidius photographed our wedding in Sinaia and somehow made two hundred guests disappear from every frame. We forgot he was even there.
My portrait session felt like a fifteen-minute walk with a friend who happened to be holding a camera. No posing instructions, just conversation.
He sent the gallery as finished JPEGs within a week, film-simulation colour and all. No waiting months for an edit that never quite matches what you saw that day.
